Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026
These terms cover using this website and the work we do for you. Nothing here removes rights you have under North Carolina or federal consumer law.
This is a template. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before publishing, and make sure every figure matches what you actually charge and honour.
Estimates and pricing
- Prices shown on this website are typical ranges, not quotes. Your price is confirmed before work starts.
- Once you approve a flat price, that is the price, unless you approve additional work separately.
- The $89 diagnostic fee is credited in full against a repair booked from that visit.
- There is no overtime, night, weekend or holiday surcharge, and no trip or fuel charge inside our published service area.
Scheduling and access
We give a 2-hour arrival window. Occasionally an earlier emergency runs long, and when that happens we contact you rather than letting the window pass silently. Someone aged 18 or over must be present and able to authorise work.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless financing has been arranged in advance. We accept card, cheque and bank transfer. Financing is provided by third-party lenders and subject to their approval and terms.
Warranty
Our warranty terms are set out on the warranty page and form part of these terms. Manufacturer warranties are additional and governed by the manufacturer, including any requirement for documented annual maintenance.
Cancellation
Cancel or reschedule any appointment at no charge. For installations, once equipment has been ordered specifically for you, cancellation may incur a restocking charge, which we will tell you about before ordering.
Limits
- We are not responsible for pre-existing faults we were not engaged to inspect or repair.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by another party working on the system after us.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the work in question, except where the law does not allow that limit.
Website content
Guides on this site are general information for Central North Carolina homes, not a diagnosis of your specific system. Do not rely on them for gas, electrical or carbon monoxide safety decisions. If a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, leave the building and call from outside.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Kessler Heating & Air LLC holds license H3-XXXXX, issued by the NC State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating and Fire Sprinkler Contractors.
